I was going to vertical mount it in my O11 Dynamic, then I realised to do so I'd have to remove two or possibly all of my bottom intake fans so abandoned the idea.
Will fit in my case in a vertical mount quite nicely

Hold on a minute young man. I recognise your name, purely for the fact that you are one of only two, officially registered 4080 owners in the UK.Please add me to list of owners
Wise choice. You could say that LtMatt. 4080 is a cracking card in itself but I had to repair my error after seeing how obliterated it got by PC enthusiasts community. Given £1269 price tag for FE it's not exactly cheap (let alone the likes of Strix for £1600+ Even with my excessive purchase history it's insane to go for high end 4080 AIB models in my humble opinion) and it has been proven it's really a very, very overpriced 4070... It went to a good home and I'm sure it will give new owner couple of years of nice performance. Proper 4090 at this point appears to be no-brainer. Got it for £1849 from I guess one of OCUK's big competitors. Allegedly 10+ in stock still on their end.
I really like the backplate:
I am just waiting for some ATX 3.0 power supplies to surface then I can get the rest. Is it me or this isn't really ATX 3.0 PSU? https://www.msi.com/Power-Supply/MPG-A1000G-PCIE5 I have noticed a subtle difference. A1000G is "ATX 3.0 compatible" whilst only Ai1300P is "ATX 3.0 ready). The former can be easily obtained. I'm trying to avoid buying 4070 disguised as 4080 situation...
Fair play, own it and let it be a part of history.Nah let it be a part of GPU market history. I won't lie. At first when I have revisited that thread couple of time I thought I must have saved offline version or something because the list wasn't exactly growing

Of all the things to apologise for my man, your picture quality is not one of them. Looks nice that GPU.
I'm proud to present my fresh 4090 build. I have not bothered with that awkward GPU support bracket which came with card. In fact I see no sag My house has not burned down yet BTW... Sorry for this low quality picture. Camera in my mobile is beyond atrocious in low light.
Same one coming on Tuesday cant wait ..Please add me to list of owners
Just played some RDR2. Max setttigs, 4K @60Hz with DLSS set to Quality. Power draw stays around 200W-230W and temps do not exceed 54 degrees, clocks at 2730 MHz. With exactly same settings my previous 3090 Suprim X would draw 420W and hit 82 degrees pretty quick. That card was beautiful too but it was a furnace. I'm impressed
