The RX Vega 64 Owners Thread

Is anyone here with a stock 64 LC able to maintain a stable 1100 MHz HBM clock during games? In BF1 mine often drops to 500 or 800 depending on WattMan settings.
Currently @ P6 1712/1130, P7 1752/1180, HBM 1100/1100 (MHz/mV), +50% pwr.

I guess 1100 MHz HBM could be too far for my particular card but it would be good to know what settings can stabilise it on someone else's.
Try these settings on Crimson 17.11.2 and let me know how you get on.

Try p6 1700/1100 p7 1752 /1180 HBM 1100/1100 +50% power

if still no joy try p6 mv @ 1130 and hbm mv @ 1130

Bear in mind that lower voltage will result in lower core clocks. At some point you take voltage too low and it crashes. It can be a bit of trial and error to optimise your perfect settings to balance clock speed vs voltage.

I'll grab the latest, cheers :)

It' fab mate, so many things to show in the osd, can move around, set margins, change how it looks colours, styles, fonts etc. Much more comprehensive than AB. Not touched it since overclocking with Wattman and displaying with hwinfo64. You will need rivatuner server statistics though and incorporate that in with hwinfo64. Add me on steam if you need help - HairyTeabagins

My card doesn't like 1100 on the HBM for all games and benches - it's really stable at 1075 though for all games with the exception of Dead by Deadlight which, whilst the game is stable, it produces some slight artefacts.

Nice :)

EDIT: The latest v5.60, and can yer just grab the portable, or go for the installer ?

Just had to redo some settings on GTA V, as it went to 60Hz :p, and can't get the Extended Shadow Distance on now for some reason, its greyed out, so can't increase the bar

To get on the Roll of Honour all you have to do is post a pic with your user name on it of your Vega 64.

Just checked the System in the Radeon CP, and its showing me core clock as 1750MHz in there too :p

System_Settings_CP.jpg
All the LC cards show this as default however it will only boost to that very occasionally, you will likely find your actual clocks when gaming and benching to be between 1670 and 1710 at close to 100% utilisation depending on what settings you use. There are of course some cards better than others as you know, but I think those ranges are the average and what I usually see.

Ahh right, thanks :)

^^ Cheers Kaap :D

These were quite good. 1100 MHz during BF1 boot and quite solid in-game. Occasional dip to 500 after dying.

Try p6 1700/1100 p7 1752 /1180 HBM 1100/1100 +50% power

if still no joy try p6 mv @ 1130 and hbm mv @ 1130

First one: BF1 boot @ 800 then 1100/800 in-game with occasional 500.
Second one: BF1 boot @ 500/800 and more 800 than 1100 in-game.

Thanks, lads. So Matt's almost default settings here were the best (debatable) and then Ill's more mV was worse than less mV.
Less and more is more and more and less is less and more lol what? But yeah overclocking this is weird af!:D

Agreed, it's specific to each persons Vega but once you find the right settings it's amazing.

I managed to run 1133 hbm and 1700 core on a 56 with 64 bios @1133mv p6 + hbm 1200mv p7 I can't wait to water cool it, love it love it love it
