Oh well, looks like my air cooling phase didn't last very long again as usual, ordered a block for the FTW3.

I would have liked a heatkiller one but they don't have any for it so went with EK, going to be keeping the stock backplate though.

Just need to figure out some kind of loop for this case.

Same as me lol. Air cooling for a few months and just felt boring. Too plain for me it just felt like a normal system

Should at least be able to get top and front rads in that case? pump in the back?

I ended up swapping back cases to my 900D lol.

Hey all

Recently upgraded to 2 strix 1080ti's from a single 980ti, loving life to the fullest, the new asus hb sli bridge aesthetically looks fantastic with the strix cards if anyone was wondering. Pics can be provided if your thinking of something similar.

But with 2 of them so far no game at any point has dropped bellow 60fps @4k on max settings, they are just beasts.

I do have one question though to those of you who have more knowledge of this than me, I seem to be getting a little micro stutter every now and then in vr which I never got with a single card, is this curable or is it simply how sli works with vr at present?

Well my Vega 64 is back in it's box and this has replaced it! Set myself a hard limit of £700 and this is what I ended up with, sooo much quieter. Can probably remove me from the Vega 64 TROH

Yes, I am not sure which to choose at the moment as I ordered the block with the black back plate. However, I won't have time to put the WB on it till next weekend.

I didn't realise until I had ordered a nickel backplate. Prefer the looks of it personally so decided to keep it.

The original backplate does look good with the RGB though but would look a bit out of place as I have no RGB in my case.

First ever Nvidia card in 20 years of PC gaming. Well apart from laptop cards that it. Looking forward to getting my coffee down me and getting it installed!
Any quirks in the drivers I should be using, or turning off?
Will be using a freesync monitor, understand I will lose that feature, does adaptive sync do similar, or should I just leave it all off?
