looks like my 4090 is on its way back from Nvidia's RMA centre in Hong Kong eta according to FedEx this Friday (assuming it passes customs ok)
If that holds true its a turn around of 15days from the UK, that's actually not that bad in fairness to Nvidia.
Summary : If doing an RMA on a 4090 FE from the UK expect just over 2 weeks

Yeah, ended up buying a 4090 FE today as well.
I bought one earlier too, upgrading from a 2080TI. Still in stock so demand has clearly cooled and/or there is more supply. Wonder if that will stop people making things up about drip feeding stock to the market.

You might be ok because the only issue with the Nvidia adapter is when it isn’t plugged in properly (that I’m aware of). You’ve spread things out nicely but for complete peace of mind it might be worth seeking out something from your PSU manufacturer or a longer third party extension cable. I know I was much more happy when I stopped using the one provided by Nvidia.
Just email their customer service via their website and they will get back to you with a form to complete. They sent me my one within 48 hours and I have to say they were very good.
