New edition to the family
My replacement strix OC 1080ti just turned up, seems to be working spot on thank god, but in hellblade with everything maxxed out im only getting 80-90fps when im sure i was getting 100+ at 1440p ultrawide.
I straight swapped the card over and installed latest Nvidia drivers, anything else i should have done? Its a straight swap for the same card
I'm running at i7 6700k, even at factory clock i sustain 60fps at 4k, even with hairworks. You should be good.4670k
what processors are you boys running with the 1080tis?
so so so tempted to get a 1080ti for 4k witcher but not sure if it'll matter with a peasantly 4670k

Im only on an i5 4690k @4.4ghz, i play on an acer x34a at 3440x1440 and it caps the monitor at 100hz on pretty much every game.
New cpu upgrades gotta wait a few months.
I tested my 6700k by underclocking to 1.0GHz and it still didn't bottleneck my 1080ti on the Heaven 4k benchmark.
4k is all on the GPU, so any bottleneck you do see I would expect you to see with your current GPU.
I had started a thread on this a wee while ago, but I just can't find the time to update it.

That's not your CPU capping the monitor, it's how Gsync works.
Here?Guys please help, does a 1080Ti show as "1080Ti" in system settings or just "1080"? Mine shows 1080 and I need to verify I have a bona fide 1080ti. Suggestions?
