Average to poor week myself - new cpu and following that temp issues that have now been sorted.

On a good run and hoping to get a good week under the belt.

On the positive side - 24hr average is beinging to rise nicely for a single cruncher like myself!

On another note, deleting WUs you don't want in order to gain points is called "Dumping", and is considered to be one of the worst forms of cheating.

Something odd here - putting Rich's figure for my weekly production into my running totals spreadsheet puts me 759 points ahead of where Stanford has me. I really don't want to go back through all the weekly news to see if I've slipped up somewhere.

I can live with top crunchers.

Damn, only made it to 21st this week. I was doing well with several 1760s, but I have had a couple of 1385s and 1580s. Bit annoyed really. Don't understand why some WUs that blatantly take longer and use more cache/ram get less points. Ah well.

Server parts should all be here early next week. Might even dump something before the next news.

This time next month I should also have a shiny new QUADDIE!

Although I might not even notice the points increase if lots of us are getting em.

Last week I had to change my source for the stats as the normal team page I use only goes up to 1000 contributors and we currently have 1029 (though mostly inactive of course).

The page I used to use is updated every hour, the "fast team page" I'm using now is only updated every 3 hours I think and it's probably a couple of hours old when I take the data from it so it could be up to almost 6 hours behind

Anyway that's probably all it is - not much we can do either I'm afraid

No, that I understand but it's the other way round - you've given me more points than Stanford's hourly individual stats shows (assuming my running total is correct, of course) and the difference of 759 is an odd number of points (pun intended).

Wooo! I'm Top cruncher, it's nice even if it won't last. Don't know if I will or won't be top next week. Had to take another cruncher down today so I've gone from 9 to 8 to 7 borgs in the last 3 days.

Fold On Team 10!

Bad news on the horizon chaps.

I'm off to RAF Cosford on a camp next week departing on Saturday at 11am.

Unfortunately my next SMP WU ends at 1300 on Saturday.
My SMP messes itself up when it finishes WU's so I'll have to schedule a batch file to kill the fah.exe and start up the two normal clients.

I hope this all goes smoothly, if it does I should still maintain around 500PPD total. If the worst happens and it all bamboozles itself then I'll be sat on 200PPD for a week.

ShadowScotland will break away again, just as I started to catch him up after my last holiday. Current gap around 1,300 points, I recon you'll be 5,000 points off into the distance again by the time I get back on Sat 28th.

Then I've got Duke of Edinburgh on the 29th-30th so I'll set up a SMP client going in that gap, should have finished for when I get back with any luck.

Then another holiday at the end of August. Hurrumphhh, but the holidays>folding maintenence.
