Personally my output is rancid - I came home to find the PC had semi locked up and although folding was still running it couldn't seem to connect and had been that way a few days from the look of it.

A full tear-down and rebuild to clean all the crud out and a clean install of WinXP to sort my driver woes is the order of this weekend I feel - then probably get myself back into VMWare with Ubuntu and see what SMP units I can find :)

Thanks again for the news, Rich! :) Personally, I think Friday would be a better day for the news anyway - a great way to start the weekend! :) Team ms9cw still crunching away - just about to evict Deep Thought from his cell!! :D I'm wondering our resident lurker Gazzza will manage to top the production league next week.

I had my first unit fail today. Not really sure why as the OC is stable and temps were fine. Looks like i got half the points from it anyway though!! Unfortunately it was giving me a PPD twice my normal (430 ppd for the core rather than 180) so a few points missed out on there.

Could have just been a duff WU - it happens sometimes, unless it starts happening more often then there's probably nothing to worry about.

Shame it was a nice scoring WU though - all my standard units recently have been rubbish :o

All that red up top seemed a little daunting but I suppose thats expected after a good week previous.

Hopefully between now and Christmas more and more Quads will be going online and we'll crack that 1m ppw on a consistent basis. :cool:
 
Amazed to see I still crunched as highly as this shows. Been an appalling last few days after some {censored} hacked into my laptop, thieved my passwords, and has been causing me bother ever since. Problem now is that I've secured stuff so much that there is no way folding is going to work :( Leaves me with no borgs. And there was me vainly hoping to prevent SnapSh0t overtaking and indeed to get Mr Numbers himself. Hopefully I'll return.

The traveller returns ... and most things seem to be where I left them. Production's taken a bit of a beating while I've been gone, but I'll see if I can't turn that around a bit now I'm back. Indonesia was awesome - lots of photos to go through now, so photoshop'll be using a fair few cycles for a while, but I should have some decent ones that I'll put up in the photography forum soonish.

Anyway ... fold on, Team 10!

Hehe no worries - being overtaken by this week's top producer is almost an honour, I'm gonna have to work hard to prolong my stay in the top 20 though! :eek: :p

(if it wasn't for the five other that are going to stomp me in that time I might be a little happier about it)

Thanks Mr Millions for the news. Still at 8 in single crunchers despite a few problems due to failed o/c & having to RMA my 2GB of RAM so back to 1GB & slower time on the WU's:(

Good luck sorting out yr PC Rich we need yr SMP output back online.

Thanks for the news again Rich. A few random BSODs & a couple of scrapped WUs this week has finaly been diagnosed as faulty RAM (again :mad: )
