Ti SLI would struggle with 8k 60hz without full optimisation from both cards. Not to mention even DP 1.4 won't run 8k at 120hz due to bandwidth limitations.

Anything above 2k-4k is a waste in my opinion for a TV. Unless you sit with your nose to the screen.

Just use engine for RGB lighting setting, then uninstall and use Afterburner instead

Think post above has saved me asking what the best software is to check speed and temp, but still got a question on heaven 4 as it's showing clock speed at 1969mhz and 5050mhz on ram assuming this is a bug as I've not played around with it.

Sounds right to me, don't forget to x2 the ram speeds because its ddr so 5050=11000.
I use msi afterburner to monitor and overclock.

Cool beans on the memory what about gpu speed should be Core Clock: 1544MHz, Boost Clock: 1657MHz, but I'm seeing 1969?

Edit for predictive being you instead of gpu

Yep pascal cards boost much higher than stated on the spec sheet, its an auto overclocking feature based on heat and power draw, most 1080ti do 2000-1900mhz depending on cooling. You should be able to up the ram speeds to 6000/12000mhz no problem.

I would be very interested to know how the above 1080 Ti manages to address 12gb of memory on its cut down bus, I hope it is nothing like how the GTX 970 did it.
