This must get asked a lot but after my experience with my Aorus Xtreme Waterforce AIO failing after two weeks. I’ve no idea what card to go for.

RMA got sorted within 2 days though and money is already back with me so probs to OCUK.

Any help appreciated.

Well it’s not good either but considering the strix and other cards are £1500+ it could be worse considering it is MSI’s current top tier card.

Sure i could get by with a 1080Ti as most here probably could but it’s a hobby mainly for me. Building up, messing around, overclocking, new shiny tech to play with and ofc the gaming aspect

Sure they should be cheaper. But unfortunately they are the price they are, nothing I can do to change that. It’s either buy one or don’t buy one

Here is my just received EVGA 2080Ti for my custom loop.

Nothing special in terms of cooler and only the FE pcb however only for my custom loop so cooler is not needed. Mainly went for it due to warranty and cost which was £1099 same as FE.

Just under test at the minute before I fit the block and backplate later.

How’s your card gregster I got a zotac amp and really shocked at seeing the temp difference . It’s a lot cooler than the arous extreme I had.

I actually ordered a prebuilt windforce OC one from ocuk but they ended up not having any stock, even though there was stock of the card for a couple days after I purchased. After waiting several days without hearing from them I found out there was no stock and no ETA on the card so had to cancel the order.

So I had no choice but to build my own up. Not too bothered as I do enjoy building them up and only two pipes to change out. Will be drained and fitted within 10 mins and probably take an hour to build up the card.

It's been superb and yer, the Zotac Amp is fantastic for temps. Not seen it go over 70c either and bombs along quite nicely. My second Zotac card and impressed with them thus far and warranty of 5 years really helps.

. They are the same FE pcb based card just a revision change I believe. Not a custom pcb or anything like that so I can’t think of a reason why it shouldn’t do.

If it fits I’ll let EKWB know and update later

3 hours of FC5 last night, max temp of 64C and fan 1800rpm. Surprisingly quiet TBH.

I have not bothered to watercool the last few TU102 cards I have got as they look and perform great without it.
