Might have something to do with getting saddled with two 1161 point standard WUs which I lost after a few days work thanks to a power cut

That morning I saw Biffa's post about the low PPD he was getting with his X2 chip and thought "well that's a lot better than I've been getting recently" so have turned my WinSMP back on and the first WU will be rolling off the line tomorrow morning

The reformat is waiting for an RMA of a spare dead hard-drive - after that it'll be VMWare or hopefully dual-boot Ubuntu

Two places off the top 20. Not back considering my SMP rig is presently struggling along with 1GB of RAM on Vista

Is that a quad-core only WU?

good news as always - sticking with 3rd place in single crunchers.

lost a couple of WU's at 44% this week (both the same WU's as well ).

Production down a touch on last week but will solider on. Also didn;t help when the wife shut the pc down before going out the other day and lost 12 hours crunching time!!! (women eh?? )

Yeah I think it is.

It has the same frame times as the other 305x units, but a shorter deadline. Yet it's worth ~300 points less for some reason

They're all I've been getting for the past 3 or 4 weeks. I think Walter's stealing my share of the 1440 and 1,760'ers

Lost one on around 60% this week. Apart from that, wasn't too bad.

38th cruncher. Stomped 7. Points gained this week 5605.
I'll see if I can hit 6000 next week.

My main machine which isn't an SMP client sometimes takes upto a day to get a WU which probably won't help.

Heh, lucky 13th in dumpage, middle of the league in stompers (in the top 100! ) AND a tiffecat to top it off!

Makes be feel better about all the computers I've rebuilt this week interrupting my precious crunching time

Where'd you go? One minute you were right there in my rear-view mirror and the next..... 14500 points behind. That's Xeon 3210 goodness that is. Not even overclocked (not that sort of motherboard).

I'm going to try and set up at least one quad-core the same as you with 4 VM clients, except I'll have to do it with Windows seeing as how I'm a fully signed-up friend of Bill

well it's been a good week for me - with the run of 1760's I've been getting - I've three boiling away at present so that should give next weeks total a kick start

Up one on the team production stakes - nice, but we're losing ground to all around us - not so nice.
Roll on the quads - and very temped with the U-120 on special this week. but might hold out for the Enzotech Ultra-X as I'm not a great fan of tower blocks (ever is most are better)

15th and a tiffy = happy man

How many clients are you running atm?

If I ever get around to getting a second 2gb of memory again I'll be going back to two VM's and four clients in Vista.

You shouldn't feel bad Cob. I believe 2bullish is running 2 or 3 high-spec machines. You can't expect to beat that with just one quaddie.

For OcUK I have 3 machines running two Xeon 3210's with one SMP client each and an overclocked E4300 (3.55GHz) with two clients, so four in total.
