60x Core 2 Duo's E???s - Not sure what spec.
10x Q6600s

oh and best of all - an Athlon64 4000+

I'm sure all those in the top 50 will be pleased to know I now have access to a HPC , although I can only get the SMP consoles connecting to Stanford on the head node, I think the other nodes are having problems with the DNS, maybe some of you Linux gurus could help me out. Node specs are 8x Xeon E5310 @ 1.60GHz (4 cores each) and there's 7 nodes.

Nice work team even without leon's staggering output were still up 200k this week must be all the schools and the flood of good standard WU about (and maybe the odd quad or two)

Production has been down since yesterday morning and will be down until this afternoon

Been in Windows ripping DVDs again, this time a box set! Once done I will get back to stomping rich

Thanks for the news as usual Rich. Poor week from me with lost WU's and down time whilst trying to overclock my system. Currently running just one win smp on my system and the wife is moaning about pc being left on again overnight all the time etc.

Will try and get back up to full pelt shortly, determined to try for 20k a week with my quad. Also got a new core2duo laptop yesterday so might have a look at options for that folding parttime also.

Thanks for the news again rich Good job team on the huge increase. Whilst we have a while to go before we team stomp anyone, we have a large daily increase lead and from what other people have been saying we're not at full capacity yet. I can see us getting into the top 20 by the end of the year if we keep this up. Perhaps we should make that our target?

Nice folding there Leon Will be interesting to see how much your production increases once you get your HPC sorted

yeah - quads will be old skool in a few months - it will be E8400 and above all the way @ 4ghz!!!

lol @ 41st place.. I still haven't got my quad folding yet.. must do that this weekend.

Surely the quads would still fold more WUs...

I must admit I'm not as impressed with the overclocking potential of the Q9450 so far compared to the Q6600... mostly because of the restrictive multiplier (8). I'd still probably get one though since it would save on energy if running 24/7.

EDIT: Although we haven't got hard facts yet, I'm keeping an eye on all the tech sites for more info

Output not as high as I was hoping for - getting a lot of these 306* WUs which is dragging the ppd down. Operation upgrade won't take place until I get my new Maestro card through (old one had to be stopped due to fraud ) - probably be at least a week.

Getting down to Cornwall hopefully - may be cold and blowy as hell but anywhere near the sea will make a nice change
