Still getting up to speed with the SMP client on the C2D. Hoping to break into the top 20 next week. A few months back you only needed 500ppd to do that, now you need 2k

A poor week for me, had to switchoff over night all week as the other half was here and temporarily running the E6300.

However by the end of next week my twin 1950 XTX, E6700 W/C beastie should be up and running.

Nice work team.

A good week for me - even with a bit of playing around with stuff and minus a GPU client until yesterday.

Installed Q6600 today but not happy with load temps - may have to reinstall tomorrow.
Took X1900XT from games rig (previously E6600 but now Q6600) after delivery of BFG GeForce 8800 GTX OC2 768MB (gives me 3DMark06 score of 12609 when coupled with the Q6600 @ 2974MHz ) and put it into the fast 4000+, oc'd to 662/828 - giving PPD of 785.
Will take delivery of bits and pieces required to get the E6600 back running on Tuesday so should be up to full production before next Thursday.

Spent a bloody fortune on pooter bits this week. I must learn to behave
NM, another step on the ladder to world domination

Even better I have double the single cruncher output of that big nosed plane man. Looks like he's lost his ruling touch these days

Bit worrying though that our relative output to other teams is starting to slide. No doubt the school holidays won't help our cause either. Maybe I ought to see if the secretaries can help out again, even though the office network is still unstable.

Thanks for the news. I'm slacking as usual.

Project fileserver is shaping up nicely though. Just got to decide if i want to wait for rumoured cpu price drops... i was going to go for an X2 3800+ but apparently there'll be price drops on that and a price drop on the E4300 soon...

And project revival is mostly ready to go, that will involve a number of upgrades to get my machine running 24/7 365.

And then there shall be much stomping.

PS3 seems to have left us in a worse position than before overall, despite increased output. However, R600 is coming, and if the price and is right and the stock cooling solution is quiet enough i'll be buying one.
