The Radeon RX 7900 XT(X) Owners Thread.

Is that the 7900xt or the 7900xtx. Would love to know over clocks and temps.
7900xtx, i haven’t got it running yet and most likely won’t until Saturday as I need some offset fittings as the block is wider and doesnt match up to the distroplate, im a bit ****** to be honest as on EKs site it said it was designed for use with distroplates

EK-Matrix7 Support - For Easier Loop Assembly and Straight Lines

Matrix7 standardizes the dimensions of the products, including the port position and spacing, making liquid cooling loop assembly more intuitive and easier. EK-Quantum Vector² GPU cooling enclosures follow the EK-Matrix7 standard, making them seamlessly integrate with EK-Quantum Reflection² distribution plates. This brings compatibility with the EK vertical GPU mount l perfect alignment of ports in both horizontal and vertical positions, meaning less time used for planning of the loop, bending tubes, and the end result will still be an epic build.

To get on The Owners List all you have to do is post a pic with your user name on it of your Radeon RX 7900 XT(X).

Three times now I've powered up my pc and there's been no signal to my monitor. Pc boots up (plenty of activity on disk light), and a quick press of the power button and windows shuts down cleanly. Power up again and everything is fine. Anybody else having similar issues?

I'm sure I experienced something similar after RDNA1 came out, and it would happen only if I powered on my PC before the monitor. It never occurred if I powered on my monitor first. It might be some odd DisplayPort thing.

Monitor is normally on standby, but could be a wake up delay thing. I might try a different output connector on the card and see if that improves things. It happens so infrequently might be a while before I can tell if it's stopped doing it. :)

Does cycling the monitor inputs help?

It just happened again - no post screen etc but pc going through all the motions of booting into windows. This time I tried rebooting and it remained the same. Switching inputs didn't help. Moved cable to a different displayport connection on the card and monitor sprung to life! Moving cable back to original port and no signal again.

So either a suspect port, or active port/connection detection is a bit buggy? May look out for a firmware update.

Edit: Just did a complete power down and switched off power. Tried again on original port and all fine again. Odd. Decided to move to another port (one nearest motherboard/bottom of slot) and see if it happens again. No idea if there's a recommended port to use or a priority order?

Does anyone have a copy of Hogwarts legacy?
Id be keen to see what kind of power it's drawing and particularly soiking as it's causing my machine to crash completely ( PSU goes click) often just at the shady coming screen and then won't respond unless I switch the psu completly off and on again.
I only have a 750w PSU as mentioned before and was worried it could be an issue. @gupsterg did you say you were on 750w as well?
