What was wrong with it? Got the FTW3 myself but touch wood its working fine.

It showing the following:

Windows is showing a error 43 under the 2080TI under device manager.
Its artifacting over the screen not in a space invaders pattern though, just lines.
Its also not letting set a screen res over 1920 X 1080.

I have raised the problem with EVGA who reponsed with 20 minutes giving me a RMA number, as I have requested a Advanced RMA I am currently waiting for it to be approved.

It's deffo the memory on the card, as its dropped a lot of sense information.

I’ve noticed on precisionX those memory modules get very hot! What fan speeds did you use?

I believe it was set to aggressive and I ran them on 100% in tests like 3D Mark, I've posted a bit more information in the other thread.

So I had myself a fairly modest build set for about 900£ with a 2600 + Vega 56. Literally building a pc to play WOW classic which I could do for about £400. Anyway, to cut a long story short, ended up with a 9900k and a Seahawk 2080ti. The reason I went for that one was I'm putting all this in a mini itx case so it's good to have the air blowing out the back slot.

Guess I better sell my PS4 Pro.

So I had myself a fairly modest build set for about 900£ with a 2600 + Vega 56. Literally building a pc to play WOW classic which I could do for about £400. Anyway, to cut a long story short, ended up with a 9900k and a Seahawk 2080ti. The reason I went for that one was I'm putting all this in a mini itx case so it's good to have the air blowing out the back slot.

Guess I better sell my PS4 Pro.

I have gone from being entirely sick of gaming to buying a gsync monitor to try and revive my flagging interest. Now I’m plotting how to justify a 9900k and a 2080ti. I doubt I will have your determination to see it through to a successful conclusion.

I think it's the introvert equivalent of a midlife crisis sports car. I too will be having my first gsync monitor too, look forward to it, at least the same games I'm bored of playing will look nicer when I'm staring at the title screen with no will to play

Well I'm technically 7 years early but figured I'd best get it out the way. I'm still a bit unsure on the CPU, 8700k or 26/700 would have made more sense but you know, new.
