I've heard the Zotac's have some sort of fan issue so would probably avoid those ones, though perhaps owners would be better placed to comment. Certainly a while back there were complaints about the Zotac fans.

The Suprim X is very quiet, however it's also one of the more expensive models. The Gigabyte Gaming OC is probably a good mid tier 4090 choice that should be fairly quiet.

If you'd like to pay close to FE price (£1600) the GameRock OC would be a solid choice and has a very good cooler and is fairly quiet.
I have Zotac 4090 and indeed, fans make noise that isn't wind noise. It sounds to me like ball bearings noise more than anything. It's not really loud but definitely louder than any other fan in my PC, even when just 1100rpm. Though, to be clear, my PC is generally very quiet.

Mine also makes some noise, but only it's audible when you keep your head next to case.

If you use their support bracket and put in front/middle instead of back and then push it up as hard as you can then card will make almost zero noise.

Ok so I just made crazy impulse purchase after selling 3080 I bought a zotac trinity 4090 arriving tomorrow.

Question will this fit on a vertical gpu mount namely this one I have ?

Also realising my pump res combi probably will be in way which means more modding / money

What stock clocks are people getting with 4090 FE.?
Mine sits at 2660-2670 while gaming which seems lower than what I’ve seen some YouTubers are getting.
Undervolted + overclocked it a bit yesterday so now drawing less power while giving some extra performance but not much in it.
I could undervolt my 3080 FE much lower while being overclocked.
Oh and temperatures are in the mid sixties while vram and hotspot being in the mid seventies.

Don't undervolt by lowering voltage, you will lose more performance vs just using the power limit slider in MSI AB.

Just set the power limit to 50-80% or whatever to undervolt.

No mate tested and performance did go up when overclocking while being undervolted.
When I undervolted and set clocks to stock frequency I did loose some performance tho.

excellent thank you :)

I thought given amount of connectors would be 600 but no big issue , can always flash later.

No coil whine , fans exhibit no noise either. Cant wait to waterblock end of month and new phantek nv7 case :)
When I received my KFA2 4090 it had that 4 8pin to 12vhpwr I pushed it into gpu and it did not do a click no matter how many times I tried. so I ordered the right cable for my trusty corsair HXi psu.
I originally planned to water cool it like yourself but decided against it for now.

Not sure if it's still the case but some people on this forum put water blocks on there 4090s and cannot get the memory to clock as high.
Been hunting for the thread but cannot seem to find it drat :)

debating returning my zotac trinity oc. Seeing how much others are getting on memory oc mine caps +1100 which seems like a dud.

Flashed GALAX bios but as expected made no difference in terms of memory oc.

Debating trying suprim x ‍♂️

Stick or twist lol
