I'm in this but I returned mine faulty. I have a 1080ti but not in that thread. If that helps.

I had a very quick count of the 1080ti thread the other week and it looked like it had approximately twice the number of cards than the 2080ti for the same period after launch.

I ordered an MSI 2080ti Duke today on eBay, Manufacturer refurb one warranty, after the 10 percent discount offer and the 3 percent Topcashback offer too, I paid £619 and a few pence....Seemed like a good deal to me, but is the MSI 2080ti Duke a good card?

I paid double that a few months ago for a zotac but it has a 5 year warranty. These cards have been a bit hit and miss for failure rates and you could get burnt with a second hand one. Just my two cents.

True, thankfully it comes from an MSI dealer and does still have warranty, but I have read of the hit and miss situations with reliability.

I've had three rtx cards my first one was palit and it artefacted instantly after installation playing hitman 2.
Then I got a zotac rtx2080ti and that artefacted with space invaders symbols so that was another RMA. My current one has never skipped a beat but to personally have 2 cards from same rtx range break so quickly a long warranty is essential.Enjoy your new card they are brilliant.

Well my cheap rtx 2080ti turned up today.... Pink artifacts all over the windows screen, reinstalling drivers did not help, contacted the supplier, offered me a further 10 percent discount and postage costs to send back to MSI Rma in Poland, RMA accepted, posted today, 2 week turn around... Kind of happy to wait, brings the card price down to around £550.
