Turned out a lot better than I thought it was goping to when I saw the drop in production, both 2ch@PS3 and PlayStation.com Forums Team have suffered even bigger drops in the last week and are currently under-producing us.

Is the drop in production due to the decent WUs being completed?

Been a really sucky week server wise... main 3906/7 server been offline since sunday have had to swap all my rigs to SMP clients (althought finally got all there clocks stable ) I think given the server issues seems every team has taken a bit of a hit so not that bad!!

well prior to sunday was hitting 95% 3906/7 units after sunday I think in total we have got like 5 ... plus for some reason I am missing a load of points!? Returned to the server that appears to be the issue and only had some of the WU's registered that sucks

Mine went a bit pear-shaped this week due to having a slacker or three in the farm. Maybe next week will be better.

99% of the time credit is added later on if something goes wrong first time around, if a server has gone down and loads of completed work is sitting on it or the collection server then it should all get added once it's brought back up. Stanford are pretty good in that respect.... usually

I think I will be sticking with the SMP client now anyways now that I have it stable

as usual thanks for the news rich - 2nd place in the single cruchers league - happy with that (thanks to Jaric for not being a single machine anymore!!)

Not a bad week - had about 18 hours downtime when my network dropped the signal over night and went to work without checking it was still running but overall decent week and a 350k tiffy and nearly inside top 50 team crunchers!!

Been slacking a bit this week with the quad. New borg is crunching along nicely at work, and the quad should be back to full LinuxSMP qoodness by the weekend so next week should be a bit better.

getting a shiny new laptop on saturday with a dual core. It's only a pentium dual core rather than a core 2 duo though. Is it compatible with the SMP clients?

Thanks again for the news, Rich! A good week for Team ms9cw, passing the 2 million mark! I was wondering what has happened to PS3 output though.

It looks like it. I've only one or two borgs running Double Gromacs now WUs instead around half of them. Now they're all running really poor SimT Gromacs and the new Amber WUs.

Interesting, I'd be interested to see if that's the same situation for the normal clients, since I've not had a decent 500 point WU in ages. They've all been 100-300 point WUs :/

Lost my internet connection at home again - mutter mutter talktalk mutter mutter - fast approaching 48h now
Did have it up and running for 5mins yesterday (up/downloaded a new LinuxSMP and a standard one, but couldn't upload the other three)

I can just see me missing the deadlines again especially if i need a new client, and I'm rebuilding my pc this weekend Hey-Ho.

Those are the normal clients.....

Oh ok. I thought it was a drop in the decent SMP WUs that were causing the huge drop.
