I find a blob of blue tac over the offending LED usually does the trick

Ouch! A lot of red but still a healthy output nonetheless. I wonder if the PS3 problems have affected the points... although I didn't think we had that many PS3s running.

LinuxSMP in the house - all thanks to the boys at Finstall central.
and I forgot how much I like the Ubuntu desktop....

..and fahmon too (never had an easier install)

My output seems a little low... i think my iMac client must have decided to stop working...

Suppose my new computer arrives my output will go up somewhat... Dual-Quad 2.8ghz should help me...

If you haven't installed the updated client then that will be it - the previous version expired a week ago and if it's been restarted since then it will have refused to run.

Check the download page for the updated client

not bad week from me but lost some crunching time with the updated SMP client - seems to be a bit flaky to me. Never had as many loses of wireless connection since i updated. Basically fine in a morning when i leave for work but back at nighttime (both yesterday and today) and it's stopped working cause i've lost my connection. hhmmm

Will see how it goes over next few days.

Switched the work borg over to a couple of LinuxSMP clients today which seems to be good for 2000ppd (E6750 @ stock). Together with the quad I'm hoping to hit around 7k ppd next week
Might just catch those slackers above me before Mr Webster arrives to give us a good stomping

Finally seem to have things under control - just in time too since I'm away now. Will be keeping a close eye on things through the goodness of remote desktop Should have a little more next week as long as things stay as they are.

FOLD ON TEAM 10

Way to go, Bigstan & magman! Excellent production. Thanks for the news again, Rich (and congrats to your recent entry into the seven-digit club). There seems to be something really weird going with PS3 folding at the moment. All the PS3 teams seem to be suffering from much lower production which is why there's no-one on the threat radar despite our own drop in production.

Just got a Q6600, all wired up and ready to fold.

Ive had confirmation that my new rig should land Wednesday this week, anyone care to guess the PPD that it will pump out?

2x Xeon 5400 Quad 2.8ghz... running the OSX console client.

Depends what the memory bandwidth is like, but you should be able to dominate the single cruncher league with it at any rate.

Nooooooooo, you're not allowed! My Q9450 is only a month away :'(

I wont be retiring the old Macpro or iMac... so i wont be allowed in the single cruncher league...

Not sure about the memory bandwidth spec, i know its coming with 2x 1gb DDR800 FBDimms, but that will be getting switched to 4x 2gb FBDimms as soon as they hit the UK shelves.

You could always start a second account if you wanted to attack the singles. Of course, that and a Macpro (assuming it's a decent spec one) should do you well on the regular league too.
