You can get one for £999 now roughly OCUK KFA2 warranty is pityful though who will buy this on the MM in two years if it even lasts that long. Have you guys been getting on ok? Anyone noticed degrading or any kind? I am tempted i have to admit the only way i am going to double my fps is overclocking a 2080ti to about 2000mhz. And i do not want to spend my money on anything without doubling my fps. And i do not think there will be any good 2080s cards on Tuesday either i have like £750 budget at the minute but the broken 1080 has been taken so i am already at day 17 no GPU. I am seriously thinking about a Zotac 2080ti for that reason but it will mean another month of saving. And it will have to be a budget Gigabyte or Zotac 2080ti as well.

I’d still say you are probably best of getting a decent 2080 Super as it isn’t a huge amount behind the Ti. Around 20-30% once both cards are clocked to similar speeds. Can get a nice super for £800 which while expensive is a whole lot better than the £1200+ Ti’s.

Or if your really not wanting to spend a great deal and still get good performance then get a decent 2nd hand 1080Ti. A good 40% over a 1080.

With regards to degrading mine still runs as fast and as reliable as the day I got it, 2050mhz with +1000 memory all watercooled. Very fast cards.

The 2080 would be £800 the 2080ti £990 that is budget ti versus top range 2080s. But the top end 2080 got flamed last time basically all it did was lower noise Nvidia made sure the hard limits really made top end cards useless.

The 2080s could be the same, So it would be the Zotac maybe at £698. So £300 for 30% roughly considering each at 2000mhz there is 3gb less ram and 1300 less Cuda cores. I looked up the benchmarks even the Lighting Ti is not a 100% upgrade over my old 1080 it is more like 96%

In the next 2-3 months ill be jumping on ryzen 3000 for a massive upgrade but shortly i will have a 2080ti winging its way to me and ill be dumping it in my 1st gen i7 rig.

My question is how hard will it bottleneck the card lol?and i know it will be a lot!

1080 Ti struggles with minimums in some games at 3440 x 1440. My 2080 Ti has made a big difference in that area.

There have been some decent 1080ti with warranty going for 350-400 in the MM. Makes it very hard to ignore against a 2080.

It depends sometimes the really overclocked 2080ti cards offer near double perf really Titan RTX territory. I had the same card a 1080 i would say 70% to 90% fps gains and scores in firestrike? Well i think my 1080 had 16k gpu score and a 2080ti wouls approach 29k 30k.

Vram is pretty future proof for 4k also considering consoles will share 8gb. The cheapest for this is around £950 to £1050 i guess.

Just note that example is from Spain on over a week delivery at £14. I wouldn't risk it given Amazon's hit and miss service and fakes.
