A pretty good week all-in-all, the drop in production seems to have been felt by most of our competitors also so is more likely down to WUs than anything else.
Make sure to have a good long weekend if you're lucky enough to be getting one - personally it's high time I got my quad clocked a bit higher and got back to some VM/Linux fun

cheers for the news - just back from holiday so starting things up again - picked up some weird WU's with rubbish points.

3062's and it's showing nearly 27 hours to crunch for 1324 points!! Damn!

Poor week for me as my ppd have dropped due to Ballistix failure again
I only got it back from RMA on 4th Jan & it has died again
Until the upgrade materialises I'll have to chug along as best I can.

I should be bringing some Quad goodness to the table next week, although realistically it's going to be at least Wednesday before it goes online. Worst case scenario next weekend. Probably shoot for a 3Ghz overclock so I should start cranking out some decent points in the not too distant future. First time in a long time I'll be in the top 20 (my poor iMac + PS3 combo couldn't compete when the first Quads came out)

Thanks for news, Rich. Most of my borgs are off-line for two weeks so I've had to crank up the home farm again to keep ms9cw and Beserker below me for a bit longer.

Thanks for the news, Rich. Welcome to the new Folders. As for Team ms9cw the Battle of Cell 6 continues (although all these weirdly pointed WUs ain't helping - they always seem to take longer)!

Well I've finally got the home box Oc'ed and back on smp after some stress testing.
The new P35 board given the E6600 a new lease of life (now I've got my head round the bios settings) - might see if it will stay at 3.8 for a while, but likely to knock it back to 3.3 to keep the power/temps down.

Have left 3 of the farms C2Ds on over the holidays for a bit of a boost - if all goes well I'll be back in the 30k zone this week

hehe - the living room rowing club had its first member this week, had the night off Wednesday but other than that I've used it every night

My main/gaming rig hasn't been Folding for most of the week due to stability issues and me being so fed up with it that I couldn't be bothered to do anything about it. Finally got round to sorting it out yesterday and it's back Folding again.
It's now running at the slightly reduced speed of 3.24GHz and the RAM I was cursing for being poor at clocking, has now decided it's perfectly happy running at 1152MHz with the timings at 5-5-5-15

Apart from that, not a bad week all round. I would imagine the drop in output is mainly due to the WUs which have been kicking about lately and nothing to be too worried about.

No problems to report this week, but I'm off work next week so something is bound to happen to the borgs while I'm not there.
I don't take a day off for months and there's not a single hiccup, the moment I take a couple of days leave everything usually goes pear-shaped.

Oh well, maybe this time nothing will go wrong.

Fairly mediocre week this week for me, but next week should be much better! Just got my Q6600 and clocked it to 3.25... have installed a couple of Arch Linux VMs and it's currently doing 4100ppd - not bad for an old P965 board!

Should put me on the edge of the top 10, providing it doesn't decide to die... now thinking about taking F@H off my brother's rig, since it's only worth about 30 effective PPD - no good at all compared to the crazy output you can get from SMP, and not worth the noise and heat output - would also give me a crack at the single cruncher table!
