Okay guy tough question! Do I get a brand new 7900xt at 799 with TLOU or the gigabyte oc or sapphire reference XTX B grade for an extra £100 I can live without TLOU as I’ll be binging RE4! I want a new GPU but can’t pass up extra £100 for the XTX?

Well one thing it does show is that AMD wasn't lying.

Remember a few weeks ago they claimed they could build a 600watt GPU that competes with a rtx4090? Well it's true because this card pushed to 650w scores significantly higher in benchmarks than a stock 7900xtx and it gets to within 10% of the rtx4090's level

Ok finished testing and hgihest gpu score I got with Timespy extreme was 16316. Settings to get that was power +15% , 1025mv, 2750 memory. I did not touch frequency sliders , as soon as i touch them the gpu wets itself and it will lose upto 50% of its score, been as low as 7000 points.

One thing I am confused about is board power draw , showing as 443w max and I was not sure that was possible with an MBA card. Is this jsut a reading error with gpuz ?

Also worth remembering I got slightly better graphics scores in that bench than Roman using air cooling and the Nitro with the stock power limit of 467W.

Hi, I have tried to sync my sapphire nitro+ 7900xtx card with my main board (Asus ROG B650-E-E)and it was flickering white, then I switched the header to the rgb controller from my pc case where it worked almost fine, 1/4th of the leds on the card did not light up no matter the effect, then I thought maybe a restart will help and after the restart the lighting was completely gone. I can’t turn it on in Tixxx software, fan check also fails. Tried to reinstall Adrenalin driver and the trixxx software but this did not solve the issue.
Did anyone have a similar problem where the rgb turned completely off?

Ps. I can still return the card today/tomorrow

Could be a faulty RGB bar by the sounds of it. However try flickering the BIOS switch and using Trixxx to see if you can adjust the RGB options in there. Might be RMA time though I'm afraid.
