It's the cooler, It has the same PCB, Components etc... as the Founders Edition but the cooler is a blower rather than 2 fans surrounded by butt tons of metal, Damn good card though and comes with 5 years warranty.

So much for that, not listed as in stock once. I know they did sell a few but they seem to be really rare for some reason no matter where you look. Even "scam" have it listed as end of life.

Matrix cards have always been extremely limited supply, Friend of mine managed to get 1 shortly after launch but said it was very difficult to do so.

On a separate note, @Kaapstad may I be added to the owners list please

Wasn't hard to get other iterations of it, they at least appeared as being in stock. It's just a 2080 ti with a different aio so don't see why there was seemingly so few of them made.

Well the PCB of the Matrix is identical to the Strix so I think it may have just come down to the complexity of building it, Putting a radiator with working pump on top of the PCB and then sandwiching it between a shroud etc... may have been to high of a cost in manufacturing or taken too long so building more than a few may have not been worth it to Asus.

It's a custom backplate from ColdZero, He does mods for a literal plethora of cases, GPU's, Soundcards, Lightboxes, Custom fan grills, Custom case replacements etc... he's based in Portugal and ships worldwide for really cheap, He's been going for years.

I really am contemplating getting a second one for SLI, anyone with SLI confirm if the majority of games work smoothly? Or is the SLI stutter still a thing?

why bother I'm @4k playing every thing on max and I have yet to have any slow down unless u want to run a 60Hz plus monitor.

Plus from the reviews I have seen on SLI for the 2080TI a lot of games did not run to good too much of a hit and miss for the outlay and most the time the card will be doing nothing wait till prices drop if ever.
