I don't let the fans idle to 0RPM, I have it as a 1:1 fan ratio so the fans at idle are always around 33% instead of the default 41% Nvidia put in place, The GPU itself stays at the exact same temp at 33% that it did at 41%, Nvidia are just a little too aggressive with their fan profiles.

What is your ambient temperature and fan speed at idle ?

Not sure what you mean. My Zotac 2080Ti idles at 29C most the year round. Even when it was 30C+ outside it still ticked over at 31C with fan on auto.

Shouldn't get that warm when idle, I have two founder 2080 Ti's and they'll both idle at 30c while driving a 4K screen and a 1080p one at the same time when both cards are installed on their own. In SLI the top one will idle a bit warmer at 34c or so which is to be expected.

Even with two screens running and watching 4K content the top card will never pass 37c with both cards in, bottom card when idle it's very rare it to see it pass 32c.

The cards are in an Evolv X case that's not great at airflow either.

55c is nothing on a card at idle. Won’t cause any degradation to the components. Hence why manufacturers use technology such as zero fan stop. If anything it will increase fan life over having them run 24/7.

Unless there's specific Gigabyte RGB lighting software, MSI Afterburner is all you need.

It's best to not tell them and if an rma is needed put the stock cooler back on (carefully removing and replacing the little sticker on the screw with tweezers and hairdryer)
But of course no one is doing that......

It's faster than a Titan out of the box, and you can expect around 2200-2250 on the cooler.

I couldn't get an air card because of the case, and the dual rad hybrid wasn't that much cheaper really.
