Bit of an odd week what with the SMP units suddenly turning a bit sour and the PS3 stats servers seemingly disappearing altogether :o
Once the PS3 stats are sorted we're sure to get a backlash but until then onwards and upwards :D

W00t! Good work all. I always see 200,000 as the team benchmark now. A good week is higher than 200k and a bad one is lower. Wonder if hotter weather will have an effect in the coming weeks?

I don't know but my production is down due to a client that stopped and to add insult to injury the sun in the conservatory has melted the scroll wheel on my mouse. :confused:

Nice news mr mega numbers ;) Can I ask you to fix the stats for me next week so I don't keep sliding down the active crunchers list? A few months ago I was mid 20s, now I struggle with mid 30s. I can't stoop much lower surely?

Just in case you get to comfy in Cell-7 ... I only have 2 E6600's and one PS3 fired up at the moment. But before I sell off the hardware, I'll be putting all the farm back online to thrash out any Bugs in the builds.

Thanks for the news rich, quite surprised that we're down that much this week. I guess the PS3 WUs not working has flattered us slightly.

I've increased my clock to 3.6 now so I should be able to pull away from Emily a little bit on the single cruncher's league. Won't be enough to hold Cob off though :(

Shocking week from me with loads of hassle about losing WU's/strange happensing with WU's and loads of crap 3064/3065's!!

Anyway as of last night back to nearly 4k ppd so should be back on form this week.

Lost a place to Emily this week who rudely stomped me with out any warning!!! Disgusting tactics!!

I know, the PS3 thing is really annoying. Im still waiting for that imminent stomp you warned me about 2 weeks ago . . . . :p.

I can thing of three reasons - significantly cheaper and generate a lot less heat, use less power.

Quad still wins on ppd and 'points per watt' and 'points per degree C' so it's the logical choice but in absoltue terms it costs you more, sell the graphics card and by a quad :D

Quad and my passive setup also don't mix - it is possable but with a lot more kit.

sounds good, think im going to have to wait till payday at the end of the month though first :p

speaking of which, just brought a PCI-e graphics card for £10! so should have the E4300 back up and crunching again soon :)
