Gotta love these multi-year overtakes. :D

Still, a good first week for my new persona, achieving my target of EOC page 2, but it'll slacken off a bit now. I'm very glad I still have a top ten cell to go back to when the underground ones get too squishy....

Thanks rich :-) its funny how we go up and down in a monthly cycle, wonder why that is?

Looking forward to the new developments that have appeared over this week, mainly the nvidia gpu since it uses gear we have now, but also the nehalam processor which looks good next year :-)

Change from Last Week: -6,873

I'll take the blame for that one, as I had 4 VMware cores that were setting Idle for a couple days because of clock time racing. The cores shutdown becasue the beta had expired .. LMAO.. accoding the the date on the Linux system, I was in year 2018 on one and 2025 on the other ... :).

Added and notsc options to the kernel boot line in menu.1st, and that date / time of the systems is stable now.

Poor week from me. It would appear that some of the farm is down and I can't seem to RDP into my main machine to do anything about it :(

Whilst I'm here, I have a bit of an announcement - I'm going to be retiring (and probably selling off) most of the farm. I've found a new plaything which is going to take up my time and a good chunk of my money. The farm is becoming a pain, personally, I blame SP1 for Vista for a lot of the instability. Everything was working fine until I installed it on all my Vista rigs, now they all have stability issues.

I'll be keeping at least two rigs, my gaming rig and probably one of the C2Ds as a download machine/file server.

For those of you who are interested, my new toy is a 1991 Toyota MR2 GT Turbo. She's a smashing vehicle and I'm going to be spending a fair bit of time and a fair amount of cash on her. I'm picking her up when I get home at the end of the month. She's in good nick now but I have big plans to make her even better :D

The last one isn't me and has been around, doing very litttle, for several years. Might have teamed up with him but he's not 'here'.

I was sure I'd read this the other day but then put it down to one of those super-realistic dreams :p

Sorry to be seeing you pulling most of your farm - though I am confident that at least the MR2 won't crash when you're not around (and hopefully not when you are either) and will give you more satisfaction and enjoyment :)
