It's looking very good at top - just a slight increase in production will see us with 2 teams to rein in, DSL Reports have slipped away from us already this morning but with only a few k difference in production we should be able to get them back in sight for good without too much work

I wish. I bought a GTS250 the other week from here, also a 4 slot pci-e mobo from another place(2nd hand) and threw the GTS250 in it along with my GTX280, and a highly overclocked 8800GTS (320mb) and an overclocked Gainward 8600GT.


As my son is off to Uni September i would like to build a folding box (4xGTS250's or above) and pack him off with that and take advantage of the free electric in halls

As a word of warning Milky^ - if you do decide to get your moneys worth of Hall fee's.
Make sure that hardware is all rapped up in a plain case wrapper, with good cooling.
Halls are much better than student digs but things walk, and the heating is always on.

My dad got me a A0+ drawing board (17th birthday) and drafting machine (18th) for Uni.
Probably the same cost as that pc (even second hand they cost a bomb then)
Best present I ever got, still use them now 16 years later. If only pc hardware had the same lifespan....

Wise words and noted thanks. My daughter did uni a few years ago and i built her a PC to take with her, it had a clear side panel and from seeing it and the millions of durty finger prints on it i thought back then that people were just looking to see what was worth repatriating.

For my son, i have a plain black case already and im thinking of making a blow hole in the top and connection one of those tuble dryer vent (flexible tube) things, so he can hang it out of the window in the summer or whenever, so the hot air is not kept in the room. If/When i build it, if i send it off to uni with him i will likely put 3"-4" of concrete in the bottom so it is not easily moved/picked up.
