24,000. That's a pretty big milestone for me, though now I'm in full flow, next week should be better :D. I'm currently cranking out about 6000ppd depending on the WUs with a GPU and a single SMP.

Aiming for 10k next week, this vmware/ubuntu is sooo much faster that winSMP.
Now if I could only find £50 for somewhere to join the GPU fun....
 
good stuff guys - good to see some serious folding happening.

Retired my machine for the time being as the electric bill and monthly payments have doubled since i was folding so need to shut things down for a while!!

Fold on team 10!!
 
Ta for the news Mr Millions. How times change - once upon a time I got into the top 10 of the single crunchers with 5k, now exchanging SMP goodness for gpu powaah I've up my prod. by 50% & reached 15th.
Impressed by the gpu client, 25 wu's & only 2 EEU's which I still got points for:)
Good to see prod. is up for the team despite leccy bills & Rosetta.
 
Cheers Rich, good to be back at last as well. :)

However, 7th place is quite simply unacceptable and I'm going to have to improve on that considerably by next week. ;):D

Found that my GPU Client has been having a lot of EUE this week...

Can't seem to find out why, it will run a whole WU fine then when it goes to get the rest one error out loads of times then it will pick one up and just start crunching through....

This is on a 4870 btw.

Anyone got any ideas?

I have shut it down for now as it says I have an unstable machine and it is backing off for 24 hours.

If someone can post anything I can try then I will give it a go tomorrow evening :D

Reduce overclock, the client produces a lot of EUEs for me too, and any time i shut down the client manually by clicking exit at the systray client, the unit dies off :/ There's still a lot for them to fix but i haven't tried being locked out for 24 hours.

Another disappointing week for me but already doing better, have crunched 2.5K points today and should be equal to that or more coming in tomorrow.
 
Hi all I have justed realised I have posted in the old thread (9th update) by accident.

Anyway just to say I am now back folding running my PS3, GTX260 and 8800mGTX for team 10.

I went from 12xx points yesterday to currently having 4225 (at the last update) now ranked 596 on ocuk (up from the mid 800's :))

The points tally would have been higher if windows update hadn't restarted my pc about 3am last night. :mad: I must remember to turn that off when folding.

Quick question as I couldn't see it in the guide; how do I get a folding at home sig?

Yeah I fell foul of the windows update last night, new build so I forgot to turn it off!!!! I started the PC folding at about midnight after wrestling with UBUNTU for a while, then I woke up to find out it had only been going for a couple of hours - DOH.

Its annoying indeed.

One benefit to folding though (especially with a PS3) is we don't have to use the heating as much at home, the thing is like a space heater! :p
